We’re delighted to announce the Culture & Business Fund Scotland (C&BS Fund) is reopening for applications on 24th of May 2023.
The C&BS Fund provides match funding to culture organisations to enable partnerships and collaborations with businesses by incentivising sponsorships to bring diverse creative projects to life. Since launching in 2017, the C&BS Fund has supported 200+ projects across Scotland – from the Grampian Hospital Art Trust in the north to Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival in the south, from the Edinburgh International Festival in the east, to Skye Events For All in the west. This amounts to £1.2M awards since the fund launched.
Through ongoing support from Scottish Government, in 2023, the C&BS Fund will provide match funding of up to £14,000 per organisation, with the intention to support as many arts and heritage organisations as possible, from grassroots initiatives to established cultural events. Other priorities for the C&BS Fund this year will be to support organisations who have implemented Fair Work policies, have introduced carbon neutral plans or policies and have embedded equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the activities for which they seek funding through the C&BS Fund.
“CBFS match funding has opened corporate doors of all sizes to us and helped us develop strong relationships which have benefited both parties.” – Candy Rafferty – Borders Book Festival
“Since its launch, the Culture & Business Fund Scotland has continually helped forge productive partnerships between culture organisations and business. We are delighted to re-open the Fund and continue our work supporting the culture sector.” – Tommy McCormick – C&BS Fund Manager
