Sponsorship of the Arts (ABSA) was the first organisation of its kind in the UK, pioneering business sponsorship of the arts.
40 years ago, the Association for British Sponsorship of the Arts (ABSA) set up an office in Glasgow.
We became Arts & Business.
The Arts & Business UK Board devolved the operation and set up Arts & Business Scotland as an independent Scottish charity in October 2011.
We rebranded as Culture & Business Scotland in April 2023 to reflect our growing engagement with the wider heritage and historic environment sectors in Scotland.
