We are currently seeking new voluntary Board Members to join our Board of Trustees at an exciting point in the organisation’s development.
Our Trustees play a vital role in ensuring the SNJO is well governed. Board Members share their knowledge, networks and perspectives to help the SNJO become as progressive and successful as possible.
We welcome applications from people who are excited and inspired by our work and who are passionate and knowledgeable about Scotland’s thriving music and cultural scene. We are particularly interested in candidates who can also bring additional expertise in:
– Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
– Fundraising
– Creative Industries
– Business Development

You don’t need any previous experience of being a Board Member. We welcome applications from people of all ages and levels of professional experience who are excited by this opportunity. We’ll provide help, training, and guidance to new trustees as part of induction.
Because of our oversight of the SNYJO, Trustees undertake a regulated role, holding a position of trust that involves influencing decisions affecting children and young people. Membership of the PVG Scheme is mandatory, and a Disclosure check is required before appointment to the Board.
