The Traverse Theatre is looking for proactive positive-thinkers to join our Sales and Welcome Team from 27 July 2026 – 30 August 2026 to assist in the provision of ticketing, audience development initiatives & merchandise sales during the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe period.
Typical duties include:
• Processing face-to-face, telephone and internet reservations, donations and sales of tickets and merchandise
• Operating computerised Box Office system, ensuring data input accuracy
• First point of contact for general enquiries, visitors and deliveries
• Providing excellent customer service to all customers including internal departments and visiting companies
• Daily cashing-up and reporting procedures
This is a fixed-term position from 27 July – 30 August 2026. There are no guaranteed hours, however we expect to be able to offer 12-15 hours per week from 27 July and 30-35 hours per week from 3 Aug 2026. Hours will include evenings and weekends.
