We are pleased to announce the Culture & Business Scotland Fund is now open for 2026-27.
Thanks to this ongoing investment from the Scottish Government, the Fund will continue to support collaborative sponsorships between for-profit business sponsors and not-for-profit organisations delivering cultural activity for the benefit of public audiences in Scotland.
Not-for-profit organisations can now apply for £1 for every £1 invested by the sponsor up to a maximum investment of £10,000. The minimum investment request is £1,000, so the minimum business sponsorship must also be £1,000.
Fund investments are made for eligible sponsorships where funds, goods or services are provided by the sponsor in exchange for certain rights or benefits provided by the not-for-profit organisation.
David Nelson, Culture & Business Scotland Executive Director commented:
“The Culture & Business Scotland Fund is a unique investment programme designed to encourage collaboration between business and culture. Investments help to enhance the impact and reach of sponsorships by matching £1 for every £1 invested by the sponsor.”

The Application Process
Applicants are encouraged to read the Fund guidelines in full before starting the application process to ensure they match all the criteria.
Not-for-profit organisations delivering activity related to culture (arts and heritage) are eligible. This includes:

- Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisations (SCIOs)
- Community Interest Companies (CICs)
- Companies Limited by Guarantee
Organisations who meet the criteria laid out in the guidelines are welcome to submit an initial Expression of Interest. Culture & Business Scotland will aim to review all submissions within 10 working days, and organisations with eligible sponsorships will then be invited to submit a full Application.
