This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation as a Trustee and Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee. This role will have a substantial and meaningful impact on our organisation – the new Trustee will play an important role in the oversight and strategic execution of our finances and audit functions during an exciting period of organisational growth and development.
As a Trustee and as Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee, you will ensure the charity is carrying out its purposes for the public benefit and in compliance with its governing document and the law; monitor the financial administration of the charity, by the executive team, and have overall responsibility for establishing the agenda and chairing the business and meeting of the Audit and Finance Committee. As the review of the governance of the RIAS is ongoing, part of the role of the Chair of A&FC (as a Trustee) will be to contribute to the next level of detail in the regulations.
