The Common Guild is currently looking to appoint a new board member to help support the organisation. All trustees are vital supporters of and advocates for The Common Guild, helping extend our reach, networks and possibilities across all of our work, as well as providing essential governance to the company and ensuring we are working towards our aims.
The specific priority for recruitment at this time is for a finance professional. Some experience of arts or cultural organisations, charity finance, or SMEs is an advantage, but is not essential.
An interest in the arts and / or cultural policy, especially in Glasgow / Scotland, along with an awareness of equalities practices are also required. You do not need to have previous experience of serving as a trustee or working with a charity.
