Macrobert Arts Centre is recruiting for a dynamic Head of Participation to lead the Creative Activities department. The Company operates a full year-round programme of live theatre, film, visual arts and engagement programmes at the Centre and the Head of Participation assumes leadership level responsibility for core and freelance staff delivering a wide range of work both at Macrobert Arts Centre and in the community.

This role will collaborate closely with the Artistic Director/CEO in the effective forward planning of the future vision for creative participation and learning as well as working with colleagues on external funding applications as required.

Most of Macrobert Arts Centre participatory work is performing arts led, but film and visual arts play an important role in the work of the Company and applicants with a background in education or in other artistic forms are welcomed.
