Working closely with the CEO and senior colleagues, the role promotes a strong financial culture and cross-team collaboration to effectively plan for Dance Base’s long-term resilience in a challenging business environment.

• Financial strategy, planning and analysis
• Management reporting and governance
• Fund accounting and funder reporting
• Financial controls, policies and compliance
• Cash management
• Systems, processes and improvements
Essential criteria:
Qualifications and knowledge:
• Strong understanding of charity finance including restricted/unrestricted funds.
• Knowledge of charity and public fund reporting requirements.
• Understanding of financial controls, risk management and compliance.
Experience:
• Previously held or is ready to take on a finance management role, ideally in a charity or not-for-profit.
• Preparing management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Presenting to senior leaders or Boards.
• Preparation of documentation for, and overseeing year-end audit with external auditors.
