Judges announced for Arts & Business Scotland Awards 2015

The judging panel has been announced for the Arts & Business Scotland Awards 2015. The panel has the unenviable task of creating the shortlist from this year’s nominations.

This year’s judging panel comprises:

Stuart Bennett, Deputy Principal, Edinburgh College of Art

Sarah Deas, Chair, Arts & Business Scotland and Chief Executive, Cooperative Development Scotland

Joan Gibson, Chief Executive, National Youth Orchestras of Scotland

Richard Hyder, Head of Charity Investment, Turcan Connell

Brian Inkster, Founder and Principal, Inksters Solicitors

Marc Lambert, Chief Executive, Scottish Book Trust

Dr Gordon Rintoul CBE, Director, National Museums Scotland

Alex Yelland, Manager of Policy, Government and Public Affairs, Chevron Upstream Europe

The panel will judge the five partnership categories, which are Placemaking, People, Digital innovation, Entrepreneurship and International. The shortlist will be announced at the end of September with winners revealed at the Arts & Business Scotland Awards 2015 to be held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Wednesday 3 February 2016.
