Arts & Business Scotland (A&BS) is seeking to appoint up to four new Trustees to expand its board as it enters an exciting period of change. The organisation, which is the country’s lead agency in fostering links between the cultural sector and the business community, will shortly launch its new three-year corporate plan outlining an ambitious programme to support the arts, heritage and cultural sectors across Scotland.

A&BS is supported by a wide range of stakeholders including the Scottish Government, Creative Scotland and more recently the Heritage Lottery Fund which provided funding to support the new A&BS led partnership, Resourcing Scotland’s Heritage.

Recruitment is now underway to appoint new Trustees to add to the wide range of skills and expertise provided by the seven members who currently sit on the board. In order to fully represent the diverse nature of our stakeholders we are looking for people from a number of different backgrounds and are especially interested in hearing from people within the cultural or SME sector, people out with the central belt and people with experience in marketing, communications or fundraising.

The deadline for applications is 11th July and further information about the appointments, as well as how to apply, can be found in the job section.
