Arts & Business Scotland is looking for a new Chief Executive as Barclay Price steps down after 11 years in the role.

With the successful move to an independent charity now complete, with secure funding from Creative Scotland and the Scottish Government and the opportunity for further development , Arts & Business Scotland is poised to develop and deliver an ambitious programme .
As Chief Executive of Arts & Business Scotland you have a dual advocacy and delivery role, with exceptional opportunities for engagement at every level, working with the Board to develop relationships with the business as well as the cultural community in Scotland. It will be your responsibility to advocate for increased visibility and recognition for the positive role in society that the arts, heritage and the cultural sectors play. We also aim to broaden the scope of our existing programmes and assist arts and cultural organisations to develop their skills as entrepreneurial and learning organisations and effective businesses
At a time when culture and heritage in Scotland are visible priorities of devolved Government there are exceptional opportunities for the successful candidate to build the business and their personal leadership capacity.
