The Wellbeing Workout

Cambo Heritage Trust

Business needs served:

  • Improving staff health and wellbeing
  • Supporting teambuilding and improving dynamics in the workplace

The Wellbeing Workout is a full-day experience in our tranquil setting, exploring the magic of our walled garden, woodlands and coastline, and designed to immerse your team in nature in our safe, supportive and inspiring environment.

We will work with you to plan a bespoke day, tailored to your specific requirements and interests, and based on your choices of up to three of the following activities, led by our experienced staff:

  • Yoga or pilates
  • Seasonal foraging /cooking experience (May to October)
  • Creative printmaking workshop
  • Gardening masterclass
  • Open water swimming
  • Woodland experience, mindfulness and relaxation
  • Drumming circle
  • Team building challenge
  • Your own themed ‘Time for Business’ meeting in our outdoor or indoor spaces.

Through each of these activities, participants will be supported to build relationships with their colleagues, increase their own sense of wellbeing, and take time to connect with nature. Each activity suits around 15 participants so we’d split larger teams into smaller groups and rotate the selected activities throughout the day.

Your team’s day with Cambo will include pauses for refreshments and a sumptuous lunch from our award-winning vegetarian café, where your team will enjoy produce grown from the garden here. We can also provide a facilitated reflection session at the end of the day to bring together the experiences of the whole team.

Delivered by... Cambo Heritage Trust

We are a place where people and plants grow, and where everyone can benefit from the magic of nature and its connection to the arts, food, learning, health and wellbeing.

Established in 1998, Cambo Heritage Trust is a horticultural, arts and heritage charity. In 2017 we also became a unique visitor destination – Cambo Gardens – set in the famous East Neuk of Fife and centred on connection with nature with a beautiful walled garden, historic Stables Visitor Centre and an award-winning vegetarian café to enjoy.

Attracting thousands of walkers in early spring to our snowdrop woodlands, by midsummer the walled garden is full of colour and insect life, with our edible garden busting with harvest bounty in the autumn. We deliver a lively programme of events and activities throughout the year connecting people and plants.
