Since we opened ten years ago, the contemporary architecture of the Beacon has become a well-loved Inverclyde landmark. Boasting outstanding views across the Firth of Clyde, our building provides breathtaking floor-to-ceiling views of Ben Lomond and the Trossachs.

Our state-of-the-art, 500-seat auditorium is perfect for hosting all kinds of events – from a seminar to a product launch or even a conference – while our studio and gallery spaces can be configured into larger or small spaces, with access to break out rooms, to suit groups of different sizes. Whichever space you choose, we promise you’ll be able take full advantage of the creativity that permeates our building.

Our proximity to the Erskine Bridge and the M8 ensures that the Beacon is easily reached by road and visitors can take advantage of ample on-street parking. Alternatively, arrive by bus or train, with stops for both just a short walk away.

At the Beacon, we offer a safe and inspiring place in which to connect and share new experiences through shows and activities that inspire and delight, sometimes challenge, and always entertain. From staging national productions to showcasing local talent, and from hosting theatre-based workshops to dance classes and a whole host of activities and events, we offer something for everyone. We’re proud that over a third of people in Inverclyde have used us and, for visitors from further afield, our proximity to the M8 and the Erskine Bridge ensures we are easily accessible.
