Looking for a team-building day with a difference? Our Page to Stage programme is perfect!
At Perth Theatre and Concert Hall, we embrace and encourage creative expression and champion the transformative power of the performing arts across every aspect of our work. This helps us to support business teams to take a creative break from the workplace through inspiring skills development opportunities.
Through Page to Stage, our experienced artistic, learning and engagement practitioners will deliver fun, energetic and participatory sessions for you. Working with professional theatre and music makers, your team will become a theatre company or a band for the day, writing and rehearsing their own short play(s) or song(s), and performing them on one of our stages by the end of their session.
In addition to coming together as a united team with a shared goal, your staff will have the opportunity to learn and adopt new confidence-building skills through performance and stage craft, enhancing their self-esteem and encouraging social interaction. They’ll also take away valuable practical aids including effective voice and communication techniques, different presentation styles and a closer understanding of body language, which can then be applied confidently within the workplace.
During the day, your team will fully immerse themselves and ‘tread the boards’ in two of Scotland’s most significant venues, walking in the footsteps of great talents such as Alan Cumming, Ewan MacGregor, Lewis Capaldi and Nicola Bennedetti. Given exclusive behind-the-scenes access, participants will explore the hidden, historical treasures of Perth Theatre and experience the technological wonders of Perth Concert Hall, which boasts one of the best acoustics in Europe.
